2. A Trusted Company

Our customers trust us not only because of our professionalism and the quality of our work, but also because we are a reliable swimming pool company. We are a fully licensed, bonded, and insured pool maintenance, repair, and construction business.

We are backed by experienced professionals that have been in the business for as long as we are and they know every job to which they are assigned.

3. A Wide Variety of Materials

At Stanton Pools, our customers enjoy a wide range of materials when choosing a new finish for their pool resurfacing Woodland Hills project. We can finish the pool with either white or colored plaster, large or mini pebbles, as well as tiles of various designs.

For example, one of our customers wanted the pool to be finished in pebble and asked us to install a new waterline tile. Pebble stones enhanced the beauty of the pool water while the new waterline tile gave the pool a cleaner look. Pebble stones also have a longer lifespan than plaster. They also require less maintenance as the abrasive surface minimizes the development of algae and other microorganisms. It may be more expensive than plaster, but it will prove to be a fitting investment, especially for homeowners who want a pool that lasts as long as it is beautiful.

4. Pool Pipes Conversion

Part of our pool resurfacing Woodland Hills service includes swimming pool pipes conversion. Old swimming pools will most likely have copper pipes, which, because of age, might need to be replaced. Many of our customers have switched to PVC pipes because of their undeniable advantage over metal copper pipes.

For one, PVC pipes are cheaper than copper pipes which affects the costs of the pool resurfacing Woodland Hills project. They are also easier to install making them ideal plumbing materials.

Additionally, PVC pipes are thicker than their copper counterparts which make them a more lasting component. They also create less noise versus copper, even with higher water velocities and speeds.

5. Tile Coping and Upgrades

We can also upgrade the area around the pool after we complete the pool resurfacing Woodland Hills job. We can start with the coping which can be matched with the material used on the surface of the pool. We can also upgrade the materials used on the deck if the customer is resurfacing a pool deck.

Overall, we can accommodate requests to renovate other parts of the pool besides resurfacing it. We also offer our clients a wide selection of materials to better suit the style and the design for which they are going in their swimming pool.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is it important to work with a contractor that is licensed, bonded, and insured?

By working with a licensed, bonded, and insured pool contractor, you can rest assured we have the knowledge, experience, and coverage to safely and properly revamp your pool – everything will be done to industry’s best practices.

Why does Stanton Pools not ask for a deposit?
We only ask for progress payments after certain phases of each job are complete. Unlike most contractors, we’ve never felt right asking for payment before work was done. This way, you’re in control and can trust we will complete each phase to your satisfaction.
What is the warranty on plaster and pebble?
Pebble has a 10-year warranty on bubbling, delamination, and pop-off (it often lasts 15-20 years). Plaster has a similar warranty, but only for 2 years because it is not as durable of a material compared to pebble.
Does Stanton Pools include the startup with every remodel?
Absolutely. It is extremely important that the pool contractor does the startup because it maintains accountability. By doing the startup ourselves, we can be sure the process is correctly done from start to finish.
Why should I work with a company that is a certified installer recognized by NPT?
Being a certified installer by NPT means the plaster/pebble company went through a stringent review process to qualify. With our certificate, Stanton Pools has proven to uphold certain quality application practices that get you the best and most durable finished surface. It also means our warranty is backed by the manufacturer, so you are completely covered.

Why is the chip out method better than hydroblasting for plaster removal?
Hydroblasting is similar to pressure washing and only removes part of the original surface to be replaced. The chip out method, however, removes significantly more of the old surface to expose most of the concrete shell of the pool. By using the chip out method, the new material (e.g., pebble) has much better adhesion to the shell of the pool, which greatly reduces the likelihood of delamination and extends the life of your new surface.

Woodland Hills Maintenance Services

We can help you show your newly resurfaced pool some TLC through our Woodland Hills maintenance services. Here are some of the things you can expect from our maintenance solutions.

1. Specialized Services

Different pools require different levels of care. Some pools need more than just resurfacing and need attention to parts not often seen.

That said, we offer repair and replacement of swimming pool pumps and swimming pool heaters. In the case of swimming pool pumps, our professional swimming pool expert will inspect the condition of the pump and carry out necessary repairs. Should some parts need replacing, it will be reported to the owner and the new part will be installed. However, most of our customers now switch to energy-efficient variable-speed pumps. These pool pumps can run at varying speeds which affect the overall power consumption of the swimming pool.

As for the pool heater, one of our trained professionals will visit the client’s property to inspect the heater. The necessary repairs will be carried out by an experienced worker to ensure that the pool heater is in proper working condition.

2. Saltwater Conversions

We also perform saltwater conversions. This involves the installation of a saltwater generator which creates chlorine from salt. Some of the benefits of using a saltwater system include safety and convenience.

Unlike traditional swimming pools that require owners or pool guys to manually add chlorine and other harsh chemicals to the water, a saltwater pool adds chlorine to the water automatically. As a result, homeowners no longer have to store chlorine and other harmful chemicals at home, putting them out of risk of accidentally mishandling these chemicals. In addition, the chlorine created by the saltwater generator is at a low level that’s enough to kill the bacteria in the pool, but not harsh enough to irritate the eyes and the skin.

Next, using a saltwater system is simply more convenient. Owners no longer have to run to their local hardware store, purchase a water test kit, and add the chemicals themselves. As we’ve mentioned above, the saltwater system automatically adds chlorine to the water.

3. Weekly Cleaning Services

Our customers can maintain their swimming pool through our weekly pool cleaning services.

We start by scooping any floating debris on the pool water. It’s important to remove dried leaves, twigs, and dead bugs from the pool water as they can disrupt the balance of the pool water. Furthermore, they can decompose in the water when they sink. This step is followed by scrubbing the pool walls and the pool floor. This helps dislodge any dirt that might have gotten stuck on the surface. The removed material will then be collected using a pool vacuum.

The pool guy assigned to your property will then check the balance of the water and add chemicals as necessary.

Lastly, a final inspection of the pool lights, the pool equipment, and the pool deck will be performed. Any possible causes of concern will be reported to you so that the right actions can be carried out to help preserve the swimming pool.
