Trusted Thousand Oaks Pool Maintenance and Remodeling Services

The second largest city in Ventura County, California, Thousand Oaks is a place many call home. And for houses whose pools require remodeling, they call no other than the pool experts, Stanton Pools.

Pool remodeling Thousand Oaks is no easy feat; that’s why most homeowners call trusted service providers that can assure them their pool is properly cared for. An unprofessional pool remodeling job not only means delay, but it may also mean that the homeowner needs to shoulder additional costs as a pool remodeled with poor quality usually does not live up to its promised lifespan. Cracks and crevices appear earlier than expected, pebbles and plasters break from the surface unexpectedly, and algae as well as molds develop more frequently.

That said, hiring the right team for undertaking a pool remodeling service is important.

Here are a few reasons why Thousand Oaks homeowners choose Stanton Pools.

Tired of looking at a pool that is dated and dirty?

Tired of looking at a pool that is dated and dirty?

When you have a pool that isn’t looking it’s best…

  • It’s stained
  • Missing tile
  • Has rough and peeling plaster

…that can make you feel like you’re missing out on enjoying the full potential of your backyard.

We totally get it! We’ve helped hundreds of homeowners just like you transform their pool into the oasis that they’ve always dreamed of.

Instead of having to contact different companies to perform different jobs on your swimming pool, why not just let Stanton Pools do everything for you? This eliminates the stress and the problems involved when having to deal with multiple people for one project. No need to schedule appointments with two or three businesses as talking to just one company keeps things simple and makes it easier for you to keep track of the progress of your pool’s remodeling project.

Trust your pool remodeling Thousand Oaks only with Stanton Pools.

3. Pool Plaster and Resurfacing

Two of our many areas of expertise are pool plaster and resurfacing. Having been in the business for more than a decade, we know pools in the Thousand Oaks area more than any company in the industry.

We admit there are a lot of companies that offer similar pool remodeling service in the Ventura County area. However, our difference is that we take a careful and calculated approach to plastering and resurfacing your Thousand Oaks pool.

To protect your pool during the pool remodeling Thousand Oaks project, we use precision pneumatic tools to cautiously remove the old shell. A jackhammer is used to tear down tough areas. With the old surface removed, our skilled pool remodeling professionals then apply the new plaster.

In addition, we will take care of the construction debris.

4. Copper to PVC Plumbing Conversions

There’s more to pool remodeling Thousand Oaks than meets the eye. Sometimes, pool remodeling involves converting your pool plumbing.

We at Stanton Pools offer pool plumbing services such as converting your pool’s plumbing from copper to PVC pipes.

Pool professionals, like us, acknowledge the benefits of using PVC pipes compared to conventional copper pipes. One advantage is that PVC pipes are quieter than copper ones. These plastic pipes produce less noise even with higher water velocities and speeds making them a favorite for most of our customers.

Another benefit of using PVC pipes is they are thicker than copper pipes which means they are more durable than their copper counterparts. Plus, they are easier to install and are cheaper.

These things greatly contribute to the overall cost and how fast your pool remodeling Thousand Oaks project gets finished.

5. Complete Equipment Upgrades and Relocation

When remodeling a pool, equipment may sometimes need to be relocated — either to follow the plan set by the customer or to simply protect the equipment from the elements. An upgrade may also be in order should the pool being renovated be somehow dated.

Our pool remodeling Thousand Oaks service comes with complete equipment upgrades and relocation. We can source the latest components to make sure that your pool works as good as it looks. Speaking of which, we can help you upgrade your pool equipment by helping you choose from parts that are highly compatible with the system you’re currently running. For things like filters, pumps, suction and return manifolds, heaters, and even salt systems, we, at Stanton Pools, have you covered.

Should your existing pool equipment need to be relocated, our team of trained professionals can move them safely, preventing any unnecessary damage incurred from changing locations.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is it important to work with a contractor that is licensed, bonded, and insured?

By working with a licensed, bonded, and insured pool contractor, you can rest assured we have the knowledge, experience, and coverage to safely and properly revamp your pool – everything will be done to industry’s best practices.

Why does Stanton Pools not ask for a deposit?
We only ask for progress payments after certain phases of each job are complete. Unlike most contractors, we’ve never felt right asking for payment before work was done. This way, you’re in control and can trust we will complete each phase to your satisfaction.
What is the warranty on plaster and pebble?
Pebble has a 10-year warranty on bubbling, delamination, and pop-off (it often lasts 15-20 years). Plaster has a similar warranty, but only for 2 years because it is not as durable of a material compared to pebble.
Does Stanton Pools include the startup with every remodel?
Absolutely. It is extremely important that the pool contractor does the startup because it maintains accountability. By doing the startup ourselves, we can be sure the process is correctly done from start to finish.
Why should I work with a company that is a certified installer recognized by NPT?
Being a certified installer by NPT means the plaster/pebble company went through a stringent review process to qualify. With our certificate, Stanton Pools has proven to uphold certain quality application practices that get you the best and most durable finished surface. It also means our warranty is backed by the manufacturer, so you are completely covered.

Why is the chip out method better than hydroblasting for plaster removal?
Hydroblasting is similar to pressure washing and only removes part of the original surface to be replaced. The chip out method, however, removes significantly more of the old surface to expose most of the concrete shell of the pool. By using the chip out method, the new material (e.g., pebble) has much better adhesion to the shell of the pool, which greatly reduces the likelihood of delamination and extends the life of your new surface.

Thousand Oaks Pool Maintenance Services

We, at Stanton Pools, also offer pool maintenance services on top of our pool remodel services. Here are a few of our offerings that can help you maintain your personal oasis.

1. Weekly Pool Service

Like a car, a swimming pool should also be maintained. And regardless of how often the pool is used, maintenance should be carried out regularly.

Our weekly pool service can keep your newly-remodeled pool in pristine condition. From basic pool cleaning to advanced equipment maintenance, we, at Stanton Pools, will work hard to ensure that you will enjoy your pool for years to come.

We provide thorough pool cleaning for all our customers. The steps include scooping up any floating dirt and debris before they sink below the pool floor, emptying of the pool’s pump baskets and skimmers to avoid obstruction from the pool circulation system, and brushing of the pool tiles and pool walls to remove minor smears and stains.

Also included is a technical review of your pool’s overall integrity, including the pool surface in addition to the pool coping. Furthermore, we also perform a quick check of your pool water by testing its chemical balance so we can make the necessary adjustments.

2. Saltwater Pool Conversions

For those whose pool needs more than the basic treatment, Stanton Pools also offers a specialized maintenance service.

These include saltwater conversions where we install a chlorine generator. Doing so not only helps keep the pool water clean, but installing a chlorine generator makes your pool water less harsh — perfect for families living with kids and seniors.

We can also install energy-efficient variable-speed pumps so that you can enjoy lowered operational costs for your swimming pool.

Another specialized service we offer is the installation of Wi-Fi remote systems. This setup allows owners to control swimming pool equipment from across the deck and even from across the globe. With some designs going for a minimalist approach and hiding the pool equipment from plain sight, having a remote system allows owners to easily change the settings without having to go near the equipment area.
