Trusted Porter Ranch Pool Remodeling and Maintenance Services

The suburban neighborhood of Porter Ranch is home to some of the most stylish backyard pools in Los Angeles (L.A.). The Porter Ranch area is known as a place for people seeking sanctuary from the busy urban life. That said, a beautiful pool is an essential part of Porter Ranch life.

Our pool remodeling Porter Ranch services have been the go-to solution for local residents looking to spruce up their backyards.

Here are a few reasons why you should consider Stanton Pools’ pool remodeling Porter Ranch services for your next pool remodel project.

Tired of looking at a pool that is dated and dirty?

Tired of looking at a pool that is dated and dirty?

When you have a pool that isn’t looking it’s best…

  • It’s stained
  • Missing tile
  • Has rough and peeling plaster

…that can make you feel like you’re missing out on enjoying the full potential of your backyard.

We totally get it! We’ve helped hundreds of homeowners just like you transform their pool into the oasis that they’ve always dreamed of.

Pool Remodeling Porter Ranch

1. A Pool Company You Can Trust

Stanton Pools is a pool remodeling company you can trust. We have been in the business for more than a decade and we have gained valuable knowledge and skills in helping our customers with their pool remodeling Porter Ranch projects.

We use a combination of time-tested methods and new ideas to deliver the best results.

The people who will work on the swimming pool have also been in the industry and know exactly what they are doing. This prevents amateur mistakes from happening — like the swimming pool popping from the ground.

We are a fully licensed, bonded, and insured pool maintenance, repair, and construction company.

2. Saltwater Pool Conversion

Our pool remodeling Porter Ranch services not only deal with improving the looks of the swimming pool. Some of our customers are now switching to a saltwater pool because of its benefits.

A saltwater pool uses a saltwater generator to convert salt into chlorine. Compared to traditionally chlorinated swimming pools, a saltwater pool creates more mild waters that are perfect for families living with kids and seniors.

The chlorine level produced by a saltwater generator is not as harsh as conventional swimming pools and it will not cause skin irritation, redness of the eye, and fading of swimwear. On that note, the occasional family get-together can be more enjoyed by the little ones.

Additionally, since a saltwater pool technically uses salt to make chlorine, a pool owner will no longer have to store hazardous chemicals at home. This is really helpful, especially if a family has toddlers or if they have pets. Accidents involving the aforementioned chemicals will be avoided because there is no need to store them.

Finally, a saltwater pool makes for a good investment because it can help lessen the need to call in a pool professional to help check the chemistry of the pool water and adjust the balance.

3. Pool Deck Remodeling

While most pool companies focus on remodeling the pool, we, at Stanton Pools, offer pool remodeling Porter Ranch solutions that involve the deck and other parts of the backyard.

The deck can be finished with materials that match the ones used in the pool. For example, a pool with brown pebbles will look good sitting next to a pool deck with brown tiles. For a complete beach-like aesthetic, we can even add matching patio furniture and umbrellas.

Meanwhile, swimming pools that are remodeled to look like Roman baths go well with decks that echo a similar style. One can choose from deck materials such as natural stone or stamped concrete. Also, a good choice is Roman-style mosaic tiles.

Homes with small spaces can even go for a mobile swimming pool deck or a rolling deck which, in addition to covering a lounge area, can be a cover for the actual pool.

4. Bespoke Pool Remodeling

To bring our customer’s pool game to the next level, we also accept bespoke pool remodeling services through our pool remodeling Porter Ranch services.

On top of the usual pool remodeling designs, we offer a wide variety of personalized pool remodel designs. Some of the most common custom pool remodeling designs include initials, musical instruments, sea creatures, and more.

To achieve our customer’s requested designs, we use a combination of materials which may include white or colored plaster, pebbles of varying sizes and hues, as well as colorful tiles.

5. Changing the Pool’s Size and Depth

Our pool remodeling Porter Ranch services can also be used to change the size and depth of a swimming pool. Some Porter Ranch homeowners purchase real estate that already have a pool in it. The pool may have a dated design and the homeowner may have different plans on how to use the pool.

For example, the pool on the property is a recreational pool. However, the new homeowner would like to use the swimming pool for practice. On that note, we could change the shape of the oval recreational swimming pool to a rectangular one. The depth can also be changed and be made shallow to accommodate the new owner’s swimming needs.

We have a customer who wanted to use the swimming pool for water therapy. Hence, we lowered the depth of the swimming pool from eight feet to four feet. The project involved raising the main drain, splitting the suction, providing infill, applying epoxy in the rebar, and pouring a concrete base. After it cured, we professionally bead blasted the old tile and applied mini-pebble.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is it important to work with a contractor that is licensed, bonded, and insured?

By working with a licensed, bonded, and insured pool contractor, you can rest assured we have the knowledge, experience, and coverage to safely and properly revamp your pool – everything will be done to industry’s best practices.

Why does Stanton Pools not ask for a deposit?
We only ask for progress payments after certain phases of each job are complete. Unlike most contractors, we’ve never felt right asking for payment before work was done. This way, you’re in control and can trust we will complete each phase to your satisfaction.
What is the warranty on plaster and pebble?
Pebble has a 10-year warranty on bubbling, delamination, and pop-off (it often lasts 15-20 years). Plaster has a similar warranty, but only for 2 years because it is not as durable of a material compared to pebble.
Does Stanton Pools include the startup with every remodel?
Absolutely. It is extremely important that the pool contractor does the startup because it maintains accountability. By doing the startup ourselves, we can be sure the process is correctly done from start to finish.
Why should I work with a company that is a certified installer recognized by NPT?
Being a certified installer by NPT means the plaster/pebble company went through a stringent review process to qualify. With our certificate, Stanton Pools has proven to uphold certain quality application practices that get you the best and most durable finished surface. It also means our warranty is backed by the manufacturer, so you are completely covered.

Why is the chip out method better than hydroblasting for plaster removal?
Hydroblasting is similar to pressure washing and only removes part of the original surface to be replaced. The chip out method, however, removes significantly more of the old surface to expose most of the concrete shell of the pool. By using the chip out method, the new material (e.g., pebble) has much better adhesion to the shell of the pool, which greatly reduces the likelihood of delamination and extends the life of your new surface.

Porter Ranch Pool Maintenance Services

We also offer maintenance services to ensure our customer’s newly renovated swimming pools are kept in good condition. Here are a few things you can expect if you will be taking advantage of our swimming pool maintenance solutions.

1. Weekly Pool Cleaning

Our weekly pool cleaning services typically start with scooping up any floating debris in the pool water. When left unchecked, they could sink into the pool floor and decompose there. The decomposed twig, leaf, or bug, can affect the pool water’s chemical balance and may also promote the development of unwanted microorganisms.

Next, it is followed by a thorough brushing of the pool walls and the pool floor. This step will help dislodge any dirt or mineral buildup that might be stuck in these surfaces. The dirt removed from these surfaces is then collected using a pool vacuum.

The pool guy assigned to your location will then check the pool water. It will be tested and will be adjusted accordingly.

Finally, the pool and the deck’s structural integrity will be checked along with the pool lights and the pool equipment. Any probable causes of concern will be reported to you.

2. Pool Equipment Repair

We also offer pool equipment repair and replacement. Some pools that have dated equipment may not work as efficiently as those running on new ones.

Our pool professional will visit your location and inspect the pool equipment in question. Depending on the condition of its components, they may be repaired or may be replaced. Should our technician decide that some parts of the pool equipment require replacing, it will be in your best interest.

As an example, a single-speed pool pump will only run at a single speed. This means that it experiences constant pressure and stress when running. Likewise, the power consumption is also constant. However, a variable-speed pool can run at different speeds which means that you can adjust the workload that you put on the pump. And because it can run at different speeds, the power consumption — and the overall operating cost of the swimming pool — will be lessened.
