North Hollywood Pool Remodeling Information
1. Professional Pool Remodeling
In these projects, we take a careful approach by starting with finding a safe place to dispose of the pool water. Once we have found such a spot, we will begin by opening the pool’s hydrostatic valve to prevent the pool from popping off the ground when the sump pump drains the water.
When the water is carefully removed from the pool, our professional pool workers will begin chipping the old surface away using a combination of traditional hand tools and modern pneumatic tools. There are several reasons why we do this, and one of them is so that we do not damage the concrete below during the resurfacing process. During this stage, we also get to address structural problems in the pool.
After the old surface has been removed, we then prepare the exposed concrete for the application of the new surface. Our customers can choose from plaster, pebbles, and even tiles. This allows them to slightly customize how their swimming pool looks after the resurfacing project. The materials will then be allowed to cure and set so that they can hold better onto the concrete and last longer over time.
The water will then be added and the chemicals will be balanced. This way, we turn over the swimming pool to our customers in its perfect condition.
2. Enhance Your Pool with Upgrades
Instead of having to contact different companies to perform different jobs on your swimming pool, why not just let Stanton Pools do everything for you? This eliminates the stress and the problems involved when having to deal with multiple people for one project. No need to schedule appointments with two or three businesses as talking to just one company keeps things simple and makes it easier for you to keep track of the progress of your pool’s remodeling project.
Trust the professionals at Stanton Pools to handle every aspect of your remodel, it’s what we do best and you won’t regret it!
3. Resurfacing Options: Plaster and Pebble
As an example, in one of the resurfacing projects that we had, we transformed a dated, painted pool using beautiful tiles and pebbles. Our customer has chosen to go with a blue-hued pool, so we lined the pool with blue pebbles that were accompanied by similarly stunning blue tiles. As you may imagine, the blue pebbles were applied to the walls, steps, and floor. Meanwhile, the blue tiles were installed on the edge of the pool’s steps and on the waterline. This turned their backyard pool into a head-turning piece with waters that are clear and inviting.
Likewise, you can choose a variety of materials like white and colored plaster. White plaster is not only affordable but also gives the water a similar clear effect. Although it will not last as long as a pebble surface, many customers like the affordability and look.
Whatever material you choose, Stanton Pools has the knowledge and experience to make your remodel the perfect experience.
4. Optional Plumbing and Electrical Upgrades
Many pools in the Southern California area were built many years ago when the technology, knowledge, and materials just weren’t what they are today. We can handle every facet of the remodeling business, so we are the best option to help when this situation arises.
Trust our many happy customers who have encountered troublesome plumbing and electrical issues during their remodel and been satisfied and impressed by our ability to manage and fix the situation.
5. Pool Equipment Relocation and Package Upgrades
While moving your pool equipment may look easy, ensuring that they won’t be damaged in the process of relocating them could be challenging, especially if the people moving them do not know how these pieces of equipment work.
At Stanton Pools, our trained and knowledgeable pool professionals will be the ones moving your pool equipment. And because they know how these things work, you can be sure that your pool equipment is in good hands.
